Crystal Pleasant

Crystal L Pleasant, a dedicated resident of East Brunswick, NJ, has balanced her professional career across ministry, public education, and small business for over 25 years. After earning a B.S. in Biology, she began her career as a teacher and chemical analyst, before earning a Master’s in Biblical Studies, igniting a lasting passion for teaching and writing. Crystal is a distinguished speaker and trainer in personal growth, emotional health & wellness, and leadership development.

As a Staff Pastor at Vibrant Church (1999-present), Crystal has founded multiple ministry groups and hosted annual events that support congregants’ needs concerning marriage, family, children/youth, young adults, men and women. She is also the founder of Kingdom Daughters

Retreat (2016-present), a national organization supporting the personal development of young women, who are founders of businesses, ministries and organization leaders, and Weekend for Women (W4W), an initiative founded in 2000, promoting the emotional health and wellness ofwomen. Crystal also owned and directed Vibrant Kids Preschool (2010-2019), and taught PreAlgebra at Maxson Middle School(1992-1997)8.

As an Executive Director, Crystal has developed educational curricula and honed her strengths in business administration, program development, and leadership training. Crystal joined EBRCC in 2022, where she was a member of the Ambassador Committee, served as the Nominations Committee Chair (2024), and more recently Executive Board Secretary, and the Chair of the new Sunshine/Community Service Committee.
